Lista de Deseos: Julio - Inspiración: Nina Nesbitt / July Wishlist! Nina Nesbitt Inspired

by - July 12, 2014

This whole week I've been obsessed with Nina Nesbitt. From her music, to her lyrics, her makeup and obviously her style. Specialy her style. To the point that I have at this poin this urge to go out and buy tons of clothes... and learn guitar too.

Her makeup is flawless, but her style is beyond that. I love the fact that she only uses heels in important events because, let's face it: none 20 yearish university student that uses the public transportation, dealing with the heat of Caracas will wear heels every single day... at least I don't know anyone who does that. Nina uses more like skater shoes, black boots, black sandals and I love that because I can get inspired by her look and still being 100% comfortable with that. Her color choices tend to go from dark colors to... dark colors, very basics: black, navy, green, white, greys and so on.

Last year I made kind of like a reinvent of my closet and I decided to wear something very different to what people was used to see on me, but it was more me. This year I feel like I want to do a change again and it looks like a great time to open my arms and let change into my guardrobe. Last year's style was more into the "semi formal" type for a tropical country: Buttoned down shirts, knitted sweaters, black pants, black boots... and basically: black, grey, white and sometimes a burgundy (which tend to be one of my favourite colors) and because I live in a tropical country I usually received coments like: "Who died?" or "Why you are so emo?" or "Why you always wear black?" that type of annoying comments.

But, in the last year I've learned that going to unversity so overdressed it's not very practical, especially if you are going to use the subway and you don't know if it will have air conditioning. Besides, I've learned that after studyiong with the same people for more than a year, actually almost two years, you have no one to impress at this point. So this time, the change will be more focused on clothes that are more comfortable that I can wear on daily basis and still look fashionable without losing my personal style.
