AMUSE EYESHADOW PALETTE | Review + Swatches

by - November 29, 2017

Have you ever wondered if that cheap Amuse eye shadow palette you see on the drugstore is worth it or not? Well, here I am to tell you my opinion about it.

I brought these palettes honestly, because they were SO cheap and I was looking for different colors to experiment with new eye looks. These palettes don't have any name on them, or number to recognize them, so I don't know how you can find them online... No name, no nothing except for the ingredient list and the name of the brand.

The earthy tone palette has only mattes shadows. They are chalky and have a lot of fallout,  but pigmented when swatched on the fingers, but on the eyes using an eye-shadow brush they don't seem to be THAT pigmented. So, probably they are better to be applied with your fingers instead of a brush. Also, these matte shades last a decent amount of time with a primer.

The fun-spring like palette has mostly satins shades with blues and pinks and a random black, I assume in case you want to do a smokey eye. They are REEALLY pigmented when swatched and applied, so they are pigmented with or without a brush. They feel buttery but they have like twice as fallout as the matte palette. They last a decent amount of time too, with primer. Without primer these don't last long.

Overall I think that for makeup newbies or people like me that are looking to experiment a little bit more with colors, these are a decent alternative, not my favourite but they will do the job and they don't cost much.
